Liv Morgan will let fans choose what she wears when she defends the WWE Women’s World Title at SummerSlam 2026 against IYO SKY.
On Twitter, Morgan polled followers on three outfit options for the August 23 show in Cleveland, Ohio. The match marks the first time WWE fans directly influence a champion’s in-ring attire for a marquee PPV main event.
How IYO SKY earned the title shot
IYO SKY locked in the SummerSlam 2026 main event by beating Liv Morgan in the finals of the 2026 Queen of the Ring tournament on 14 June in Toronto.
SKY, who won the 2026 Queen of the Ring tournament, has branded herself the ‘Genius of the Sky’ and framed the match as a chance to dethrone Morgan. The win came after SKY outlasted eight other competitors over three weeks of singles and tag bouts.
Liv Morgan’s 2026 surge continues
Liv Morgan already owns two major 2026 milestones: she won the Women’s Royal Rumble match on 26 January, then captured the WWE Women’s World Title at WrestleMania 42 on 5 April.
Her reign has already lasted 109 days and counting, with SummerSlam 2026 set to extend her reign further. Morgan has not lost a singles match since dropping the title at WrestleMania 42, then regaining it minutes later in a rematch.
What the fan vote means for the match
The three outfit choices put to fans include a retro-inspired bodysuit, a high-neck sports top with lace sleeves, and a classic one-shoulder look. Voting opened on 12 July and closes on 30 July.
Morgan teased the poll on social media, writing: “Let the people decide.” The move underscores WWE’s push to deepen fan engagement ahead of the show, which will air live on Peacock and WWE Network.
